Trip to Washington

A couple of years after Amy moved to Olympia, Betty flew out to visit. She also went to Vancouver, WA to visit her sister LaDonna and her family. Amy did not know LaDonna or her family as they had moved to Vancouver from California when Amy was quite young, and then of course, we moved to Rochester, New York, prior to her eighth grade. So this was also an opportunity for her get to know some of her relatives. The pictures below are from the trip.

Amy had always been a "dog" person but she inherited two cats from friends that could no longer keep them. Although she still likes dogs, she has really loved and cared for her cats.

This is an interesting sidebar. These girls are almost the same age but Cristina is Amy's 2nd cousin. Therefore, since Amy is LaDonna's niece and Cristina is LaDonna's grand-daughter, that means LaDonna must be ...........

    Great photos...Can't get over how much Amy looks like a female Freddie. You sure can't deny that pretty girl. Love your blog. Look forward to it daily.
